Hi everyone,
In this week's edition of Kavanah Media's Weekly Marketing Rundown, we'll talk about changes to targeting in Meta Ads, a new tool for developers to build custom chatbots, and a new metric to track with Instagram Reels. Let's dive in.
This week, Meta has begun removing the ability to toggle Advantage Detailed Targeting off in your traffic ads. For those of you who don't know, Advantage Detailed Targeting (when on) gives the algorithm the ability to expand beyond your detailed targeting metrics if it believes it will improve performance. This is just one of many updates Meta has introduced in the last 6 months removing controls from the advertiser, forcing an increased dependence on the algorithm to target the correct individuals.
